Hynosis is sleep: False
 
- Hypnosis is a altered state of consciousness with heightened awareness and sensory function.
- You are more alert and awake.
- You remember everything.
- You do not loose control, but you are in a deep trance.
- You continue having normal thoughts.
- It is a relaxing experience.
- You will feel relaxed and awake when you are done.
 
Hypnosis is similar to Anesthesia: False
 
- Your ability to think and react remains.
 
“Weak” people are good hypnotic subjects: False
 
- It is a common misconseption that people can be easily manipulated into a trance.
- Strong–willed people are in fact better subjects.
- Will power is important in hypnosis.
- Motivation & acceptance determine how good a subject is andthus effects the results of therapy.
