	Every journey with a guide begins with an introduction - an exchange of names, glances, sometimes just a hand held out for reassurance. My journey began like many others have, and will - in confusion.  I had a goal, an ideal, and tried to communicate this over to Isabelle - who, with the tried and tested patience of a mother, explained my own ideas back to me. until I accepted who I was, and realised where I was headed.  Eventually, she showed me that I had begun my own personal journey, a journey I had dreamed of, and now feared.  I would love to say that she solved my problems, that she gave me back something I thought had been damaged beyond repair, that she showed me the light I had longed for.  But, as she frequently said, she didn't have to do anything - I did.  So, I will say that she showed me my inner peace, helped me make peace with the world, granted me the freedom to say what I needed and let me be me.  You will never realise the importance of being okay with yourself, until you lose that feeling.  And you will appreciate it all the more when you find it again.  Life is magical in it's beauty and simplicity and Isabelle gave me a safe haven to view it from.
